Tim Monner is the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at BigScoots, a fully managed WordPress hosting and services company. Tim is responsible for direct engagement with WordPress and web hosting communities to share the “story” of BigScoots and to build positive relationships and opportunities with clients, partners, and solutions providers.

Over the last 20 years, Tim built and supported different corporate, brand, and product marketing teams at various technology companies focused on data center software and hardware infrastructure services, SaaS and Cloud services, web hosting, and more.

Tim started his career his tech career working for larger corporations such as Panduit, Corp, where he launched the company’s first data center infrastructure management (DCIM) system, helped to manage Panduit’s first tech company acquisition, and developed global go-to-market plans for Panduit Data Center Solutions portfolio.

Tim found his true passion working for small to mid-size hosting companies that were approaching the growth stage of their organization. This list includes ServerCentral (now Deft), Steadfast, OpenMetal, and now, BigScoots.

His years of experience in both start-up and corporate roles have given him a unique perspective when building marketing and sales teams, implementing new marketing technologies, and supporting community-driven, open-source technologies in the marketplace, such as OpenStack, WordPress, and others.
