Hi! I’m Taco Verdonschot and I work at Emilia Capital & Projects. My main focus at the moment is growing our Progress Planner plugin business.

I joined the team at Emilia after spending over 11 years at Yoast, maker of the famous Yoast SEO plugin for WordPress. In the various roles I held there, I learned about Customer Service, Community, Product, SEO, WordPress, and the web in general. It also introduced me to Make WordPress, where I joined the Polyglots team as one of the GTE (Global Translation Editor) for Dutch (nl_NL) and as a Program and Event supporter in the Community team. Over the years, I’ve attended a lot of WordPress events, and even co-organized a few.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, and helping out local charities as a volunteer. I’m also one of the organizers of a LANparty called X-Life, and I love riding my trial bike (although I don’t do that often enough).

I love sharing knowledge and insights, and am open to doing that both online and offline (although I do like offline, in-person better).
