Ray Mitchell is a marketing consultant and the founder of Made for You Media. He describes himself as “an ex-Fortune 500 guy who gave it up to become a small-business guy who helps other small-business guys in their quest to become Fortune 500 guys.” For over a decade, Ray has helped local businesses and non-profit organizations grow their online presence to get them more business, more donors, and more volunteers.

He is the author of the book Magical Coach Websites, an instructional guide for coaches who want to take control of their website as a marketing tool. He also is a regular speaker at WordCamp events across the US, where he helps business owners who use WordPress to get more out of the platform and teaches them how to become more effective at promoting themselves and their businesses.

Ray was born in New York City and will always be a New Yorker, but he calls Winston-Salem, North Carolina home. Active in the local community, he is a member of Rotary, sits on several non-profit boards, and serves as a Business Mentor at the Small Business Center at the local community college.
