Oneal has been working as a Learning and Development Specialist for over 20 years, training an average of 2000 people per year, in person and remote. Some of his training programs include teaching people proper presentation skills and public speaking.

Back in 2007 when I needed to make a website for a not-for-profit costuming organization, I started out using Drupal and Joomla upon the recommendation of some developer friends. I used Drupal more for its customizability but since I had little experience in coding, I had difficulty modifying it to our needs.
A year later I tried out WordPress and found it was more user-friendly and was so much easier to transition the admin responsibilities to the end-user. I’ve recommended it to some friends and professional contacts. I also use it for my own personal blog

In 2019, I started volunteering for the WordPress Five-for-the-Future program, which led me to work with the #WPDiversity team. I now help run Diversity workshops. I have run workshops in the Philippines, Indonesia, Southeast Asia, India. Nigeria, Zimbabwe, and Switzerland.

I am currently the co-facilitator of the APAC #WPDiversity Network Building program and a member of the Learn WordPress Training team faculty.

I am also part of the Speakers Team of the flagship WordCamp Asia 2023 Organizing Team, helping to ensure Diversity and inclusion among the speaker selection.

Also, as of July 2022, I have just been accepted into the WordPress Training Team Faculty Program as an Administrator.
