Nick, the Geek, Croft has been developing with WordPress for over a decade. Today he is a lead developer for Reaktiv Studios, a WordPress VIP Partner. He has created several plugins for WordPress.org, primarily using the Genesis framework, and custom work for clients and his employer. Nick is the author of Genesis Explained, a book that focuses on the Genesis theme framework. He has completed his Web Accessibility Specialists (WAS), Certified Professional In Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC), Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA), and 508 Trusted Tester certifications. Lately, Nick has focused on writing highly efficient code, automating all the things, and improving skills in Javascript, React, security, and accessibility. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife, four children, and a puppy and lives on a quiet cul de sac in the Shenandoah Valley. He also enjoys home improvement projects, hiking, and river activities.

As a pastor for 14 years Nick spoke multiple times a week. He has also spoken at WordCamp DC, several WP Meet-ups, and most recently, WP Accessibility Day.
