Mary Baum has been on the WordPress Core team since 2019. She co-led the release of WordPress 5.2.2 and has her hands on some part of every release since 5.3. She’s on the editorial board of the WordPress Developer Blog, where she edits copy and writes about typography and theme development. And with a group of four good pals, she helps maintain two components.

Away from the screen, Mary plays tennis or pickleball five mornings a week and became a grandmother in 2022.
