I am currently fascinated by and speaking on WordPress and Blockchains. A new layer of internet infrastructure is being built that empowers individuals and communities by bringing digital assets onchain. I get excited about teaching others what that means, how it’s happening, and inspiring people to pay attention and learn how they can get ahead of what’s coming.
I’ve been working with web technologies since the dial-up internet days. My journey started as a tech support specialist, but I’ve grown to program small and enterprise-level websites, handle server setup and maintenance, and created and co-owned a few web companies. My passion lies in staying up-to-date with the latest web technologies and expanding my knowledge in this realm.
In 2007, I earned my degree in CIS, and ever since, I’ve been captivated by the power of human ingenuity in solving real-world issues. I’m driven by the desire to always be at the cutting edge of emerging technologies, and I enjoy guiding others through each new wave of innovation, especially when it comes to internet-based solutions.
My involvement goes beyond just work. I’ve volunteered in WordCamp organizing teams, provided assistance to the Arizona WordPress Meetup Group, and taught classes there. Currently, I’m an active member of a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that focuses on promoting public goods and education within the Ethereum Web3 ecosystem.
