With 20+ years working in IT, I have experience across a range of tools and technologies. I want to help small businesses and teams design, improve, and maintain the technology that helps them succeed.

I spent nearly 20 years working in higher education before moving into the private sector. I spent 10 months working for a remote digital agency (10up) before starting Marit Digital in 2022. I’m also a tech reporter for Raleigh’s WRAL TechWire on the side.

I have experience with web design and development, UX, UI, and usability testing design and assessment. I’ve been working in WordPress since 2009, and have built and supported dozens of stand-alone and multisites. I have experience planning events, including WordCamps, as well as speaking and training. I regularly help clients with content planning and design, brand design and strategy, and product and project management.
