In 2016, I took a four-year sabbatical from my job as a government administrator in Luxembourg to focus on my mental health. It was then that I discovered the WordPress community and found a new passion for WordCamp volunteering, organizing, and speaking, which encouraged me to start traveling the world. Along the way, I quickly became an advocate for positive mental health, diversity, and inclusion in tech.

Today, I am a Culture & Recruitment Strategist at Yoast, where I have found my passion for taking team culture and recruitment marketing to the next level. I also serve as the Head of CloudFest Hackathon, which enables open-source projects to reach new milestones at the leading conference for cloud computing.

In the past, I have held various roles at other WordPress companies, including a leading WebOps platform and a renowned WordPress agency.

Currently based in rural Germany with my husband and #BuffyTheDog, I find inspiration in the contrast and variety between quiet country life and adventurous travels around the world.
Besides advocating for diversity and inclusion in tech I am devoted to help breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health issues.

Additionally, I have a keen interest in learning and sharing about all topics related to remote, hybrid, and distributed work culture, as well as digital nomad lifestyle.
